The Dutch Royal Navy has acted swiftly and accurately and with great determination in the cases of disaster, for example in Haiti in 2010 and 2015 and Dominica in 2015 and 2017. Not to mention the invaluable role the Dutch Royal Navy Command has played in the Caribbean during the emergency response and relief efforts on Sint Maarten post Hurricane Irma.’
